Brittany Lietz, Ms Maryland 2006, and a skin cancer survivor herself, talks to guest host Yolanda Vazquez about the dangers of the sun and tanning salons and how to protect yourself from skin cancer. Presidential contender John McCain is also a survivor of the deadliest form of skin cancer.

What to Look For: Skin Cancer Screening
The Skin Cancer Program at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center focuses on the treatment of malignancies that involve the skin. The program treats patients with both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. Physicians from multiple specialties including surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, dermatology, dermatopathology, and interventional radiology provide multidisciplinary care to patients.
