1) What is a sustaining gift?
It’s an ongoing monthly contribution you make to support the programs you value and enjoy. Our current sustaining members tell us that $10, $15 or $20 a month is best for them, but you decide what works for you. The amount will automatically come from your bank account or be charged to your credit card each month, and it continues until you tell us otherwise.

2) What if my credit card expires or changes?
If your credit card expires or changes, simply use either the MPT Member Portal  or call MPT Member Services at 800-522-8915 (9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday) to update your credit card information. Or avoid future worries and by using the MPT Member Portal to switch to electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your bank account. Our Member Services team is available to assist you in making the switch to EFT, if needed.

3) How do I update my payment information?
You may securely update your payment information using the MPT Member Portal or by calling 800-932-1338. Both options are secure, available 24/7 and offer the ability to convert to EFT.

4) As a sustaining member, can I request a thank-you gift?
Yes, you can request a thank-you gift each year, as long as it's valued at or below the amount of your annual giving. Call MPT Member Services at 800-522-8915 (9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday), and our Member Services team will assist you with selecting a thank-you gift.

5) Is my sustaining contribution tax deductible?
Yes, your gifts are tax-deductible, minus the fair market value of any thank-you gifts you receive.

6) How do I know how much I have donated per year to MPT with a sustaining gift?
Use the new MPT Member Portal to view your sustainer donations. You'll also receive a written summary statement of your annual giving in late January each year, reporting the prior year’s donations to MPT.

7) I still have questions. Who should I contact?
Call MPT Member Services at 800-522-8915 (9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday) or email us at membership@mpt.org for additional assistance with your sustaining membership.
